THE previously suspended boss of a troubled regeneration scheme may not return to his post, The Evening Post has learned.

Sam Tarffó, chief executive of the Neighbourhood Development Company (NDC), was suspended following a special meeting of the board in December 2007.

Mr Tarff, who joined NDC in 2004, was cleared last week of gross misconduct following an investigation.

NDC, which was awarded £55m in 2001 for schemes in Radford and Hyson Green, is expected to make an announcement about Mr Tarff on Monday.
