A PUBLIC "fuddle" is being held in the Arboretum Park to celebrate this year's National Vegetarian Week.

People are invited to bring vegetarian and vegan food along to the event, which will start at 2pm on Sunday, May 24.

The Big Meet (Without Meat) has been organised by Notting-ham Animal Rights. On May 18 the group will give away vegan food in Market Square and at 1pm the next day there will be a veggie chili dog eating contest.

Anoki on Barker Gate is also offering £10 off their vegetarian menu for National Vegetarian Week, from May 18 to 24.
