Froch world title fight to be in Nottingham
NOTTINGHAM'S Carl Froch will fight Canadian Jean Pascal for the WBC title at Trent FM Arena on December 6.
And promoter Mick Hennessy believes The Cobra will confirm his status as one of the world's best boxers in his native city.

Carl Froch
He said: "We have always wanted to stage the fight in Carl's beloved Nottingham.
"There was talk of it going abroad but we always wanted it to be in his backyard."
Hennessy believes Pascal will be a dangerous opponent. "He is very tough and very athletic, with quick hands – flash fast," he said.

“Have the arena owners forgotten about the Panthers playing that night?
...Wait a minute, of course Panthers fixtures are 'subject to change' as ever. As a fan I feel that we are treated as 2nd class citizens, all because one event can make more money than others. Shame on the money men who don't seem to care about Panthers, whom only seem to be allowed to play there so they (the money men) can have some income when no one requires the use of the arena.
Anyway good luck to Carl.”
