A NOTTINGHAM man who is pushing a fridge-freezer across the UK for charity has had his collection box stolen.
Matthew Hollox, a former Navy diver, is doing the ten-month challenge to pay for a £3m monument for fallen military heroes.

He set off on his challenge in January. He reported having the box stolen from Bridport in Dorset last week.
A man in his 20s from the Bridport area has been arrested and released on bail pending further inquiries.
Sergeant John Osborne, of Dorset Police, said: "Mr Hollox was the victim of an alleged theft and we are appealing for witnesses."
Mr Hollox, 50, from the Lace Market is aiming to travel 3,000 miles as part of his Monumental Walk.
He has been walking 16 miles a day, collecting donations as he goes, and hopes to return to the city by November 11.
The tour will help the Royal British Legion fund a £3m monument at Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire, honouring British service personnel killed in Iraq and Afghanistan.

“What an absolute low life to pinch a collection box from someone who is collecting for such a worth cause. I think collecting for a monument for those who have lost their lives in the Britsh Army is a fantastic idea so if i see him i will definetly put my hand in my pocket”

“Three million is a lot of money for a monument, now this is always a tricky subject when it comes to the war dead but surely the living should be the priority. There are many worthy causes in this country in desperate need of £3,000,000. Sorry if this has touched a raw nerve with any of you but a grandiose monument is probably not what the solders would have wanted anyway.”
