NOTTS star Paul Franks hit a superb century but couldn't save the Bassetlaw League from defeat in the semi-finals of the Cedric Rhoades Trophy.

Franks made 112 in a total of 247-7 but the Derbyshire County League made 267-6 off 45 overs.
