Nottingham Forest returned to pre-season training this morning.

New strikers David McGoldrick, wearing 17, and Dele Adebola, number nine, joined in along with winger Paul Anderson, who made his move from Liverpool permanent yesterday.

Last season's skipper James Perch was out on the field, although he was wearing a protective air cast on his left foot.

Julian Bennett, who ruptured knee ligaments on Boxing Day last year, was on the training pitch but will not be fit for the start of the campaign.

“well happy with the david mcgoldrick signing i think he will be a fan favourite and also paul anderson with alot of potensial i think hell be the one to watch this season. along with paul mckenna bit of experiance in that midfeild position could help us out alot but with him being at preston all of his career it will be hard to get him here u redsss”

“Gary, Maybe he wil or maybe he won't. We'll have to wait and see but if not Dexter we still need a striker maybe 2 if Earnie goes.”
