Forest star Gunter: Welsh young guns owe Toshack so much
NOTTINGHAM Forest Chris Gunter wants Wales' young guns to repay the faith of manager John Toshack in their Euro 2012 qualifiers.
The Reds full-back – along with striker Rob Earnshaw – are part of a Welsh squad that begin their Group G qualifying campaign in Montenegro tonight.

Toshack has pinned his faith in youth and while the average age of Toshack's squad is under 25 – with just captain Craig Bellamy over the age of 30 – nine of the expected starting line-up boast 20 caps or more.
And Gunter insists it's time for the young players to repay the faith Toshack has shown in them.
The experienced manager has given talented youngsters like Gareth Bale, Aaron Ramsey, Joe Ledley, Jack Collison and Gunter himself their international break, which has helped speed up their development at club level too.
"He has put the majority of us in the team," said Gunter.
"It is his team and for most of us, he has been the manager for the whole of our Welsh career.
"So as a collective unit everybody really wants to do well and it'll be brilliant if it is his last one and we do go all the way.
"There is a quiet confidence in the camp.
"We've been saying 'we've been building to this campaign' for the last one or two campaigns. People say 'in time this squad should produce some good results' and we're getting nearer and we need to start winning games and qualifying."
Wales, who have not qualified for a major championships finals since the 1958 World Cup in Sweden, will also face England in Group G.

“James in Ilkeston I completely agree. A few points, last year with the same squad Perch apart who was injured nearly all season and poor when he did play, played the best football we have seen for years and finished a great 3rd place, remember league one rubbish boys....Also without ND we probably would have no Forest to go and watch remember he took over from the Scholer mess which nearly sent us to the wall and since he has plowed in over £40M and paid for every player out of his own pocket including Earnie and Gunter and Camp who are great players. ND is not stupid and knows that the only way he will ever see his money again is to get us up so he will be trying everything to get us up without putting the club into trouble again. Would you rather we wait and see where we go rather than keeping everyone happy paying too much for a load of overpriced crap players.....Get behind the players and stop picking on the ones who have off days McKenna was unbelievable last year and now he is being booed which is a disgrace as he will come good as will the team, support the boys and your team as anything else will not help anyone.............”

“Bwahaha, thats a coincidence I was just about to mention "them".
What i was gonna say is this.....it could be worse lads....we could be sheep dippers......now thats a fate worse than the worst case of crabs.....they've just sold their best striker and having problems getting fatso to stop being greedy and accept their terms (familiar story)......that would be like selling earnie and ando threatening to leave on a free.....and they already had a non league team to start with and not much to shout about there (see last season) so you can guess how that lot are feeling.
No consolation I know, and I too would like to pour concentrated acid down nd's pants.......but whatever else, however many times we get lied to, thank Brian I'm not a sheep.”

this guy has wrecked our football club and made us the laughing stock of english football.
bert and ernie from sesame street could run our club better than doughty and arthur.
