Bottom line is we don't have a strong enough squad to cope with injuries, suspensions and loss of form by experienced players. In the summer we replaced anyone leaving with better players, but didn't really improve the squad in terms of numbers. We are now making do and mending with youngsters, non-match-fit players and loan signings. August was the time to sort this, not nearly November. This is a tough old league.

We've no cutting edge. Plenty of pace on the pitch but no end product... and despite his mazy runs and exciting play, Paul Anderson showed real naivety for the trip on Quinn that led to the penalty. The guy was heading towards the corner flag from the angle I saw it! Poor performance all round second half – forgot who was at home for large parts. Don't know where the win is coming from in truth. Not spending money travelling down week in week out to watch us capitulate like this.Something needs to happen urgently.

I think they should have put the Brian Clough statue in the Forest technical area, he would do far more to inspire our team than Colin Calderwood.

I have seen every home game but against Ipswich, despite two disallowed goals, we were awful. We have a defence that's all over the place, a non-existent midfield, Tyson who has to get the ball himself to stand any chance of scoring and Cole who would be better left in the dressing room. We have the players but a manager who can't play them in the right positions or give them any confidence. Calderwood must go now before it's too late (although its looking like it might already be too late).
