FORMER Notts County star Michael Johnson and businessman Steve Greaves have agreed a deal that will see them take over at Hucknall Town.

And their first move has to been to appoint former Forest defender Des Lyttle as new manager.

It is understood Johnson was close to investing at Eastwood Town in the summer, only for that to fall through.

But after talks at Watnall Road last night he and Greaves – owner of Nottingham bus company Premier Buses – are to take a majority sharehold in the ailing Yellows.

The club were relegated from the Evo-Stik Premier League last year amid mounting debts that threatened their future existence.

But the club now hope to push back up the football pyramid and establish themselves at Blue Square Bet North or even Blue Square Bet Premier level.

And they also hope to revive plans to move across the road from Watnall Road to a new purpose-built ground.

Lyttle comes to Hucknall having had a spell in charge at Tamworth. He has recently been working in the youth set-up at Wolves.

He takes over a team sitting fifth in the table and his first game in charge will be Saturday's Evo-Stik Division One South at Notts rivals Carlton Town.

You are right the diction is terrible I was rushing like you said, but that is a poor excuse. Thank you for the English lesson.

It is wrong for people to mention your place of work,to be honest all I have read is you work shifts, and like I have said before, you are a cleaner at Forest as you know so much about Forest and yet so little.HE! HE!

I think you can trust Steve, we did.

    Good luck for Saturday.”

I would have thought most people could work in harmony with Michael Johnson he is a really nice person, it was a sad day for me when he left Notts County.

What do you mean you have heard it here it here, you were say it was Keane last week, with all the papers talking about Cotterill you are not really telling us new's, I will be the first on here tomorrow if you are wrong.Regarding Cotterall I thought he was a good manager while at Notts County, although we were sitty well in the league when he came. Met him a couple of times seem's like a nice person.

Forest will never please everyone all of the time, some don't want him I see on the Forest site

No it is not my hubby thank you very much.

I see you have been upsetting some of our supporters with a few of your comment, will you never lean old boy,you are a right wind up.

You trust in God knows who yeh!!

    You Pie's”
