Flurries of snow expected as cold snaps return to Nottingham

FLURRIES of snow are expected this morning in Nottingham city centre as cold weather looks set to return.

Today's forecast is for cloud and temperatures of around 2c, but over coming days the temperature could drop to -4c.

Thursday is expected to be clear but cold, with maximum temperatures of 4c but snow and sleet could fall on Friday and into the weekend with temperatures of around -1c to 2c.

It has also been announced that this March is expected to be the coldest nationally for 50 years.
