Fleetham claims nine as AFC Nottingham enjoy their Sunday
THOMAS Fleetham helped himself to NINE goals as AFC Nottingham hammered South Notts Spartans 18-0 in Division One.
Andy Carlin (2), Ben Musa, Ahmed Trabelsi, Chris Atkin, Robert Wallace, John Braddock, Hamin Mahmood and Sam Malcolm made up the rest.
Blacks Head extended their slender lead at the top after a 4-1 victory over Park Tavern. Joe Harrod did the damage with a hat-trick, while Robert England got the lone reply.
Bear are only a point behind with a game in hand after a 3-1 victory over Vernon Villa.
Mo Saibu (2) and Jordan Smith got the goals that sank Villa, who missed two penalties.
AFC Rolls Royce had a hard-fought 3-1 win at Sports Direct. Jamie Start started the scoring and Gareth Wainwright picked up a second-half brace for Rolls. Louis Moisey grabbed the consolation.
Optima were pipped 3-2 by Woodhouse Colts. Lee Chambers (2) and Robert Bowler were the Colts scorers, John Fryer getting both for the losers.
Redhill entertained Sherwood Chestnut Tree in the top-of-the-table clash in Division Two.
Honours were even in an entertaining 5-5 draw. Tariq Nedif (3), Liam Webster and Reggie Royes scored for Sherwood, Joe Meakin (2), Brett Langsdale (2) and the prolific Charalambos Georgiou netting for Redhill.
Third-placed Southglade Park picked up a 10-1 win at bottom club La Toque. Josh Williams, Keenan Williams, Ryan Bramley and Callum Cocks all grabbed braces. Mark Hemp grabbed the La Toque reply.
Broad Oak edged Pure 3-2 through Michael Allen, Shane Walker and Evans Jerome. Luke Thorpe scored twice for Pure, with a 20-yard lob in the first minute and a then with a 30-yard volley.
Nuthall County lost 4-1 at home to Southbank, who struck through Chris Lane, Dean Martindale, Sam Riddle and Lewis Brown.
Kimberley MW beat Notts United 8-0 thanks to an impressive five-goal haul from Oli Walters. Nick Grainger (2) and Ian Green got the others.
