ROBERT Beniston, 46, of Stoneyford Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield, was fined £600 for keeping an unlicensed vehicle in Porchester Road, Mapperley, on April 23. The case was proved in his absence at Nottingham Magistrates' Court. Additionally, he has to pay vehicle excise back duty of £87.09 and costs of £90.

CAROLINE Butler, 48, of Howbeck Road, Arnold, was fined £200 for keeping an unlicensed vehicle in Howbeck Road on March 9. The case was proved in her absence at Nottingham Magistrates' Court. She is also required to pay vehicle excise back duty of £35.84 and costs of £90.

ADAM Drummond, 19, of Forest Road, Calverton, was fined £80 for keeping an unlicensed vehicle in Forest Road, Calverton. He admitted the offence by post. He will also have to pay vehicle excise back duty of £134 and costs of £90. His guilty plea was taken into account when imposing sentence.

JOHN Frith, 47, of The Corner, Lowdham, was fined £400 for using an unlicensed vehicle in Daleside Road East, Sneinton, in April this year. He entered a guilty plea by post. He has been ordered to pay back excise duty of £466.25 and costs of £90.

THE case against John Marshall, 51, of Padley Hill, Mansfield, was proved in his absence at Nottingham Magistrates' Court. He was fined £200 for keeping an unlicensed vehicle in Padley Hill on April 17 this year. As well as the fine, he has to pay vehicle excise back duty of £54.17 and costs of £90.

MARK Nangij , 43, of The Green, Upton, Newark, was fined £600 for keeping an unlicensed vehicle in Honing Drive, Southwell, on February 6. The case was proved in his absence at Nottingham Magistrates' Court. Together with the fine, he is required to pay vehicle excise back duty of £214.17 and costs of £90.

FIONA Watson, 49, of Village Road, Clifton, has been fined £600 by magistrates in Nottingham. She used an unlicensed vehicle in Derby Road, Lenton, on April 19. The case was proved in her absence. As well as the fine, she is required to pay vehicle excise back duty of £151.25 and costs of £90. The case was proved in her absence.
