“Somewhere on the web there is a story about the Al Hasawi and Leeds Utd.
The story states that they did not have enough money to take the club forward, so Leeds rejected their bid.
Looking at the saga so far at Forest, it seems that what Leeds had concluded was correct.
But who knows………………………Interesting times”

“i think the new owners have made some mistakes yes but i hope they learn from them, this is a new venture and not everything we put our minds to is plain sailing at first but if you keep at somthing for long enough then you get it right in the end,
lets hope now they kick us on in the right direction, everything is pointing towards billy davies as the next man to take up the hot seat, let him have final say on players transferes and he will do ok team selection i,e let him man manage cos that what he does best he knows half the team they know what he wants from them, ok there would be a few who would have to put his ideas into practice but the way billy sets his teams up should not be a problem lets hope he can kick some backsides into shape and get us playing the right way again, thats if he is on his way”

“What happened to the "Iconic Manager" they were going to appoint.
The Al-Wally's deserve everything they get. You're running a football club here,
not some Mickey-mouse corner shop.
Come on, roll on relegation.”

“NOW do people realise how lucky we were with Nigel Doughty ? I said the other week that ND was a Forest fan and the Al Hasawis aren't - and perhaps recent decions are showing that. BUT...the REALITY is that had they not bought Forest last summer, we may well have been looking at a points deduction or worse. Foreign Owners inevitably take time to settle and come to terms with the basket-case that British football is. I dare say that they are shocked at how much money even a 2nd Division footballer demands (oh yes, then there's the Agent's 'cut' too) - and perhaps they can be accused of naivity , even recklessness. But, if an Owner or Manager has made a wrong decision the key is to move on asap. Leeds got shot of Clough after 44 days. Steve Coppell left Manchester City after 2 weeks - life goes on. If we can have a good 4 months, McLeich will be forgotten....as had SOD. You have to llok at each 'dismissal' individually. 90% of us wanted rid of Mark Arthur - so that's a tick in the box. Keith Burt had overseen some right turkeys coming into the club - and seemed unable to attract any of the foreign players that seem to swell the ranks of other Div 2 clubs (Anthony Knockeart, anyone? ) - so again, probably a wise decision...especially IF Alex and SOD had told Fawaz on the quiet that they didn't rate him. The release of Frank Clark does rankle me and seems illogical - but for all we know, he may have been 'bad-mouthing' the Owners in his undersated way. As for Sean, for sure the majority of us were not happy, but I for one did not see us going up under Sean....but that does lead us on to the decision the whole rationale of bringing in Alex pre-January so that he could do some deals in the Window - but 'only' Jara and Henderson (and Ward) arrived. Patently Alex felt unsupported, but given that most of us thought he was wrong in the first place, it's now rich for people to be saying the club is falling apart. It isn't. Get Billy, Adkins or RDM....and the only way is forward for Forest I honestly believe that . And anyone who is abusing The AL Hasawis on Twitter or by other means....please remember what happened when you did that to Nigel Doughty. This clubs needs the AH more than they need us.”

“Oh dear. All doom and gloom, and getting ready for a relegation fight. Oh dear. Owners need to be keen footballing people, not ones that just want a new and expensive toy. Poor, poor florists.
Apparently Mr. Hasawi is a blue.
Always s**t on the red side of the trent.
C'mon Leicester.”

“Never mind returning us to our former glory. Stopping us becoming a laughing stock would be a sensible first step.Get a grip or go.”

“"The challenge is bigger than I envisaged when we purchased the club"
That one line speaks volumes. Judging by the chaos that has ensued since Fawaz Al-Hasawi became Chairman, it looks like he is way out of his depth and meddling in matters that should be left to those who are better equipped to deal with. Muppet.......”
