2004: Fails to progress from 110m hurdles heats at Athens Olympics.

2005: Competes at European Indoor Championships.

2006: Wins bronze medal at Commonwealth Games in Melbourne and another bronze at European Championships in Gothenburg.

2007: Finishes fourth in European Indoors 60m hurdles and reaches 110m hurdles semi-finals at the World Championships.

2008: Fails to progress beyond quarter-finals at Beijing Olympics. Has Lottery grant cut following performance.

2009: Fourth in 60m hurdles in European Indoors. Enters World Championships but knocked out in the heats stage while struggling with injury.

July 2010: Wins gold medal in the 110metres hurdles at the European Championships in Barcelona.

October 2010: Wins Commonwealth Games 110m hurdles gold in Delhi.

August 2011: Wins world bronze medal in South Korea
