FA probe Forest fans' abuse of Jones
THE Football Association have announced they will launch an investigation into the abuse aimed at Cardiff City manager Dave Jones during Saturday's Championship clash with Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
An FA statement confirmed: "We strongly condemn any chanting which contains foul and abusive language or is of a homophobic or discriminatory nature.

"At this stage we are gathering information on this."
Jones was the target of constant abuse from a section of Forest fans who taunted him over his arrest on child abuse charges almost 10 years ago.
The case against him was thrown out of court but that failed to stop a group of Forest fans subjecting him to vile chants.
Jones said: "They are stupid because they absolutely killed the game for their own team – they think they are hurting me with their chanting but they distracted from what they are actually at the game for.
"The only people they hurt were my family. It doesn't hurt me, I'm used to it.
"If they want to do it then fine, let them do it, but when my book comes out, go and buy it then they might realise what my family and what I went through.
"Then they might take a step back and have a think about what they are actually doing. Half of them know what went on anyway. They are just following the person in front, so who is the actual fool?"

“It matters not a jot whether there are motives or not, or even if the guy might have been guilty, or what has happened at other places. The fact is that he was found innocent and should not have to listen to mindless insults, just as we who go along to support the team really should not have to put up with such moronic behaviour. The more I go to the City Ground the more I see the truth in the accusation ¿Theatre of Morons¿. Could it be that his book was'nt ready for publication yet? He's using us for extra publicity, and you and other morons like you are playing right into his hands by playing the ultra PC do-gooder card. Well done. FACT: If his book was'nt nearing publication, this would'nt have been pounced on as an issue - like I said, he gets this abuse from other supporters at other clubs - why make an issue out of it now....why now specifically?........keep putting those pieces together Dave, you'll get there.”

Jones has not been found guilty and therefore in the eyes of our legal system is innocent. How hard is that to understand??
We do not need an FA probe we have enough problems at the club !!!

“Actually, I was under the impression that rather than the charge being disproved, the court case was dropped because a key witness did'nt turn up or did'nt want to testify. Thats rather different than a case being disproved. In reality, he was only found not guilty because of a technicality.....pedantic? Maybe, but those are the facts.”

By the way, that comment about racist chanting by Cardiff fans. You obviously have no idea of the meaning of the word. As the' English' consitute a vast number of races these days, a chant like that cannot possibly be described as racist.
Don't get me wrong, Wolves hate Cardiff with a passion, you should see it all kick off when they come to the Molineux, but get your facts right before talking rubbish.”
