Tim Garratt, director at Innes England, who helped set up the team of private sector organisations, said: "Team Nottingham will be funding the presence of Mike Taylor and David Bishop at MIPIM.
"We are a team of private sector property organisations which have come together as we strongly believe that Nottingham should be represented at MIPIM, which is a chance to showcase our city and its huge potential to global investors and developers.
"Not only will we be funding the presence of Lorraine Baggs from Invest in Nottingham this year, but we are delighted that Mike and David can join us.
"The private sector values their input to the extent that we are fully funding their presence at MIPIM.
"Mike and David's attendance bolsters the offering of Team Nottingham and gives us huge credibility – encouraging potential investors to come along and see what the city has to offer."
Mike Taylor said: "Despite challenging economic market conditions there are a number of significant development opportunities in Nottingham that will only be realised by the public and private sectors working collaboratively together.
"MIPIM is a key event that enables these opportunities to be showcased to a world-wide audience and for the partnership to be clearly demonstrated to potential investors."
David Bishop added: "A crucial part of our effort to create economic growth and local jobs is securing inward investment, and showing the world the exciting progress and opportunities in Nottingham is a key component of this work.
"MIPIM is the ideal showcase event, at which to maximise our impact.
"This year the team will be focusing on the opportunities arising out of the large infrastructure projects going ahead in the city and with our Enterprise Zone."
The Invest in Nottingham Club has pitched in £1,600 to support a prestigious reception event where over 200 high profile property people will be presented facts and figures about the city – and what it has to offer in terms of regeneration and development.
Paul Southby, chairman of the Invest in Nottingham Club, said: "The club knew that it was important to support the efforts of Team Nottingham.
"As a city, we have a lot to offer and a lot to prove.
"It is vital that we have a strong presence at MIPIM."
MIPIM attracts thousands of investors and developers from across the globe.
The line-up of sponsor organisations from the private sector, include Innes England, Gleeds, Geldards, Morgan Tucker, Rizk McCay, Couch Perry & Wilkes, CPMG Architects, Miller Birch and Invest in Nottingham.
Garratt added: "For the second year running, we have had a number of private firms across Nottingham and the county who are keen to maintain the city's prominence at MIPIM.
"Over the past few years, Nottingham has succeeded in establishing a recognisable presence there – and it is vital that we could this momentum going, especially in the current downturn.
"The reality is that we have to compete for future inward investment, and when you are up against locations like Birmingham, Manchester, Sheffield and our own regional rivals you have to compete hard.
"The private sector partners involved in this year's delegation to MIPIM had no difficulty making a business case for being there.
"We have opportunities to market, requirements to compete for and we wanted to make sure that the Team Nottingham brand was out there and visible at the biggest event on Europe's property and investment calendar.
"We are pleased to be taking Invest in Nottingham, which won't be making a financial contribution – but we felt we needed their expertise and knowledge."
"It is important that firms like ours and other key players in the Nottingham business community get actively involved in seeking new inward investment opportunities," said Nick Gregory, director of CPMG architects.
"Attracting new businesses to the city is critical for Nottingham's future prosperity so we are really pleased to be a member of the private sector delegation going to MIPIM with a view to securing new opportunities.
"We attended last year and made some very useful contacts that have helped us win new business for the practice which has to be beneficial to the city."
Invest in Nottingham is due to launch its second Commercial Office Market Review later this week.
Continuing analysis suggests that the city's economy is likely to expand significantly in the years ahead, with more than 14,000 jobs due to be created between 2015 and 2025.
The Review says Nottingham needs more high-quality office space to support that.
