Electrical fault blamed for building fire at university campus
AN electrical fault has been blamed for a fire in a building at the University of Nottingham's Jubilee Campus.
Fire fighters were called to the campus, in Wollaton Road, Radford, at 4.36am today.
Two crews from Highfields and a third from Central fire station attended to damp down flames on the first floor of a three-storey building.
The fire had been extinguished by 5.10am, with fire fighters staying at the scene until 5.30am.
Notts Fire and Rescue Service say the fire was caused by a faulty electrical appliance.
