Education debated at political speed dating
AN event will see prospective parliamentary candidates for the Nottingham South seat take part in a political "speed dating" session.
Constituents will be able to grill the speakers tonight over their plans for education.
It starts at 5.30pm at New College Nottingham's Lace Market campus and has been organised by the University and College Union (UCU).
It will bring together a panel of students, teachers and parents who will question the candidates on proposals for schools, colleges, universities and adult education.
Constituents will spend five minutes each with Labour's Lillian Greenwood, Conservative Rowena Holland, Liberal Democrat candidate Tony Sutton and the Green Party's Matthew Butcher.
