Eczema mum has 1,000 Twitter followers
AN online social network started by a Nottingham mum for eczema sufferers has just signed up its 1,000th member.
Amanda Roberts started the Twitter feed as part of the website for Nottingham Support Group for Carers of Children with Eczema.
The group started 15 years ago as part of the dermatology clinic at Nottingham University Hospitals Trust.
Mrs Roberts, 54, sends messages of advice and support, or tweets, to followers from India to the United States.
She said: "I've been amazed by the number of people signing up. It's not just about advice – followers contact each other and offer help based on their own experiences."
