Earnshaw confident repeat performances will earn victories
ROBERT Earnshaw today insisted the victories will soon be rolling in for Nottingham Forest – if they keep producing the same level of football.
It was a familiar theme at the Madejski Stadium as Forest created a host of opportunities, but still failed to win.

Only this time, rather than missed chances from the Reds, it was the form of keeper Adam Federici that held Forest at bay.
The Reading man made three quality saves to deny the visitors – although he later blotted his copy book with a bizarre mistake to gift Earnshaw a leveller.
"That is why we love football," said Earnshaw. "You have these games and we have seen it before.
"We should have been more in front against Leeds. We should have against Burnley as well.
"We should have been ahead at half time at Reading as well, but we were behind instead.
"The luck will come for us. The keeper was on fire, which you can't do much about.
"We could have gone on to win the game. But we will take a point. We know we are playing well and it is encouraging.
"If we keep up this kind of form, everything will be rosy in the end. We will pick up plenty of wins."
Earnshaw was denied by a world class stop from Federici, who plunged low to his left to push away a fizzing shot as it arrowed towards the bottom corner.
But he later threw an attempted clearance straight at the striker, who was left with the simple task of rounding the keeper and firing into an empty net to put Forest back on level terms.
"I could not believe the save, you could see it just going in the corner. But he made two amazing saves, one from me and one from Anderson," said Earnshaw. "As for the goal, there was still a little for me to do, but it was a bizarre one.
"I just shrugged my shoulders at the fans after I had scored, because I did not know what was going on.
"I will take it, to be fair. If there is anyone who deserved a bit of luck, it was me. I had hit the post a couple of times already this season.
"It was nice to get a little break, a little bit of luck.
"We deserved it, overall. They played well, to be fair. But I thought we played as well as we have done this season."
Meanwhile, boss Billy Davies insisted Forest can again feel hard done by at failing to return home with three points.
When asked if his side had been unlucky not to claim all three points, Davies responded: "I am glad you boys have said that, because when I say it, it sounds like an excuse.
"In the first 20 minutes we should have scored a number of goals, because our play was first class. Had we taken our chances, who knows where we would have been."
