Why the EU is part of problem
YOUR resident Euro-loving correspondent Eric Goodyer seems to be relishing the thought of more countries joining the ever-expanding EU.
He seems to think Turkey is part of Europe, when most of it is in Asia. Also when I last looked on the map Georgia was in Asia as well.
The possibility of even more countries joining this corrupt organisation would open up our non-existent borders to even more people. The man is clearly a dreamer if he thinks this will "bridge the gap between Europe and the Islamic world".
Doesn't he think we have enough people in this country already?
The EU will drag this country down eventually and none of the main parties will be able to stop it because they are part of the problem.

“"Beak's lost, the plot" or should we just call you Eric Goodyer? Is that really your argument? What would happen on the vote on the euro? What would have happened on a vote on Lisbon? What would happen on a vote on further integration?
We all know, shame you don't.”

“"All opinions polls point to a euro-sceptic population Mr S."
Apart from the only poll that counts, the general election, where the vast majority of votes went to pro-EU parties.”
