Why EU lovers can't be trusted
YOU have to wonder when you read letters from the European Union-lovers how truthful and honest they are.
Can you imagine having a conversation with these people in the 70s about whether we should join the Common Market, they would have probably told you how much easier it would be to trade with other countries in Europe. But after thinking about it you expressed concerns that eventually you thought that Europe would want to dictate fishing, farming, laws and possibly even want its own currency.
These people probably would have told you not to be so silly and to stop scaremongering and even if it did happen it would need the full support of the people.
And this is how the term Euro-sceptic evolved. The EU and its supporters cannot be trusted, and even if countries are allowed a vote on European policies it's pointless voting "no" because in EU that doesn't count. You will have to vote again until they get the right answer.
So to sum up, you have a disgusting organisation run by a majority of disgusting individuals.

“Common Market? Common Policy??Well, l for one would like to see some commonality, rationalisation and equality in eurolaw, even if that start was made on the disparity europewide of retirement and retirement age.”

Unfortunately, all that really sums up is why it as impossible to discuss the strengths and shortcomings of the EU (yes, it has both) with a eurosceptic as with a europhile.”

“These dictats as some eurosceptics call them include protections for consumers and workers.
Time and time again, I have asked the eurosceptics if they would introduce some of those protections in their own legislation. They have not said.”

“i like some parts of being in the EU,especially concerning ease of trade,
the single currency would be even better if the UK had the urro,
i have to agree about countries being made to vote and vote until they get the answer right,”
