Double headers beat the weather
VOLO, Nottingham Knights, Sporting Wheelbarrow, Beechdale United, New Venture and Bestwood MW Res all played double headers in Division One in an attempt to try to beat the mounting fixture backlog.
Sporting Wheelbarrow pulled away from the relegation zone with 1-0 and 3-0 wins over Nottingham Knights.

Beechdale United climbed to third after 5-3 and 5-2 wins over Volo.
Bestwood Miners Res did their goal average no harm at all as they beat New Venture 18-4 over their combined games.
Chaffoteaux continued their good form to open up a four-point lead at the top of Division Two with a 3-1 home win over Palmerston Arms.
Hamburg 80 went third in the table courtesy of a fourth-minute penalty from Nathan Woolley which gave them a 1-0 win at Wheelhouse.
Meanwhile Notts United beat Springfield United 4-2.
Golden Ball's relentless charge towards Division Three honours continues. They extended their unbeaten run to 15 games after their 4-1 win at M.I.S United.
Rivals Optima kept up the pressure on the leaders as did Headstocks with 5-3 and 5-2 wins respectively.
Robbie England's hat-trick did most of the damage for Headstocks in their win at Pure FC. NCH lost at home to Optima.
Southbank were unable to hang on for a much-needed victory in their home game with fellow strugglers Gremio, conceding two in the last four minutes.
Only two games took place in the Premier Division and both Calverton MW and Total FC took full advantage of Kimberley's day off by leapfrogging them into joint third place with 3-1 and 6-0 wins respectively.
Total remained in the hunt for honours after Matt Astill (3), Wayne Evans and James Hall gave them a convincing win at home to NSF Locksmart.
Second-placed AFC Mill missed a golden chance to close the gap on Division One leaders FC Bedstead after the table toppers slipped to a 4-1 home defeat at the hands of Medz Reds and the Mill themselves were held 1-1 at home to Hucknall Rangers.
