Dogs taken ill after walks in Woodthorpe Grange Park
AT least seven dogs have become ill after being walked in Woodthorpe Grange Park over the past ten days.
The dogs, of various breeds and ages, were seen at Arnwood Veterinary Clinic, in Winchester Street, Sherwood, all showing the same symptoms – vomiting and diarrhoea.

Practice owner Graham Woolliscroft said he had seen two dogs with those signs yesterday. "They all have gastroenteritis and they've all been walked at Woodthorpe Park," he said. "However, my dog goes there and she's not been affected. The illness tends to last for around three days. No dogs have died from it, as far as I know."
