MANY Forest fans will be praying Billy Davies's side are in the hat for the FA Cup fifth round draw come full-time tomorrow.

Indeed, the club's chaplain, The Rev Steve Silvester, has been a busy man since Forest were paired with Derby in the competition.

Mr Silvester, 49, said: "Since the draw it's been common for people to ask me for Divine intervention. I know how much this match against Derby means to the fans."

Mr Silvester, who is vicar at St Nicholas's Church in Maid Marian Way, took on the chaplaincy role at Forest in September.

He confessed that he is a lifelong Manchester United fan – but admitted he has now taken Forest to heart.

"I have a tough act to follow, as the last chaplain here helped lead Forest into the Championship," he said.

"I haven't had the best of starts, but things are looking up now.

"I've been following the highs and lows this season and it's been an emotional time to be a Forest fan. I'm well and truly hooked now."

As for an all-important score prediction, Rev Silvester remained neutral – for now.

He said: "I'm hoping it will be a draw so we can bring Derby back to the City Ground.

"It would be another great match for both sets of fans."
