Deal brings more growth for Vision West Notts College
A NOTTS college is set for further expansion after teaming up with an education company.
Pearson in Practice, based at Bulwell, announced last month it was to close, putting 62 jobs at risk.

Vision West Notts College has now finalised an agreement with its parent company Pearson Plc to transfer vocational training over to the college.
The transfer will see the majority of the Pearson in Practice activity become part of the West Nottinghamshire College group as a wholly-owned subsidiary, under the name Vision Workforce Skills.

The deal means the college takes over the training of around 4,000 apprentices and work-based learners.
Principal and chief executive at the college Asha Khemka said: "This cements the college's position as one of the country's leading providers of workforce development programmes."
