Deadline day for Mansfield's General Hospital
MANSFIELD District Council will inspect the town's old General Hospital site on Monday morning to see if the owner has cleaned it up.
The council served M H Adam with a legal notice ordering him to tidy up the land and building.

The work included removing graffiti and weeds, repairing fencing and boundary walls and boarding up broken windows.
Mr Adam appealed but, at a hearing at Mansfield Magistrates' Court in January, he agreed to make efforts to clean the site up.
He had until midnight yesterday to do so. If the council does not consider the work done, it can do it itself and claim expenses back from the owner.
