NOTTINGHAM'S Paul 'Semtex' Daley is celebrating after joining Dan Hardy in the UFC.

Daley has agreed a four-fight deal and will make his debut on UFC 103, on the undercard of Rich Franklin v Vitor Belfort, in Dallas on September 19.

"It came out of the blue," revealed Daley. "The UFC picked up my contract when Affliction pulled out.

"I've got a big fan base in America so they want to use me over there.

"Obviously I want to fight in England as well and it would be great to be on the same bill as Dan when the UFC comes to Nottingham next year."

Daley will fight again in November, providing he comes through his debut against Brian Foster (14-3-0) unscathed.

"I'm on a huge pay-per-view bill in America and it's a nice fight to start with," said Daley. "Foster likes to stand up, but he won't be for long – if everything goes according to plan.

"I didn't get a signing-on bonus so I'm after that $60,000 ko bonus so that I can put it towards a decent car.

"I've got a bit of time to work on my weaknesses. I'll be training for three weeks in Nottingham and two weeks in Holland before going to America."
