Cropwell move to the top of EMPAL Division One
CROPWELL United are the new Division One leaders on goal difference over Plumtree after a 4-0 win over Freeman & Mitchell.
The goals were shared between Page, Kennedy, Coulson and George Abbot.
Plumtree eased past Nottingham Law School 7-1 but NWM Olympico shocked Nottingham Medics A 3-2.
But with five games in hand on Cropwell and two games on Plumtree , the Medics are still favourites for their first Empal winners medal.
George Farrow hit two goals for NWM, before Taylor and Tilbury pulled the students back on level terms.
A late own goal gave all the points to Olympico, aiding their relegation battle.
Nottingham Punjab Colts also sprang a shock after winning 3-0 against Radcliffe Olympic.
Division Two leaders Queens Head beat Boots Wednesday 3-0.
At the other end of the table, Caythorpe pipped Notts Athletic 5-4. Bonnick got another double, to add to goals from Burke and Tinkler and an own goal. Neville, Gee, Scott and Eaton scored for Notts.
Fellow strugglers West Bridgford Albion did their league status a power of good with an impressive 7-3 win over mid-table Inn The Bank.
Tom Carey was the difference between the sides with another hat-trick. Passi and Buldry both scored twice. Clay, Jones and Musson netted for the losers.
