Coventry are still hoping to sign at least one striker on loan prior to Forest's visit.

The Sky Blues sold one-time Forest target Leon Best to Newcastle during the January transfer window, leaving Freddy Eastwood and Clinton Morrison as their only experienced front-men.

Sammy Clingan, the former Reds midfielder, will start in the centre of midfield.

Forest could restore Raddy Majewski to their starting line-up, after Billy Davies left him on the bench for the visit of Sheffield Wednesday.

The manager felt the Polish international was becoming unsettled by the club's failure to tie up a permanent deal for him.

Paul Anderson will also be pushing for a recall after being rested against the Owls. David McGoldrick could be handed a rare start.

COVENTRY (probable): Westwood, Cranie, McPake, Wood, Wright, Bell, Clingan, McIndoe, Gunnarsson, Eastwood, Morrison, Baker, Barnett, Konstantopoulos, Hussey, Grandison, Deegan, Jeffers.

FOREST (from): Camp, Gunter, Morgan, Wilson, Perch, Cohen, McKenna, Moussi, Anderson, Majewski, Blackstock, McGoldrick, Smith, Chambers, Tyson, Adebola, McGugan, McCleary, Lynch.

Clinton Morrison: The 30-year-old striker has netted nine goals this season and remains an experienced player at Championship level.

Sammy Clingan v Paul McKenna: The former Forest midfielder is the heartbeat of the Coventry team following his £650k move from Norwich City. But, in McKenna, Forest have a driving force of their own.
