A NOTTS couple who delivered leaflets in Clifton about the disappearance of Madeleine McCann have defended their actions.
Grenville Green and his wife, Helene Davies-Green, have been campaigning on behalf of the Madeleine Foundation.

Madeleine McCann.
The pressure group has repeatedly claimed Madeleine was not abducted and their leaflet presents evidence gathered by the Portuguese police about her disappearance.
The pensioners from Nuthall have also dropped leaflets in Rothley, Leicestershire, the village where the McCanns live.
Mrs Davies-Green said: "We're not trying to upset anyone or stir anything up, we just want people to look again at the case."
Following the leaflet drop, Mr and Mrs McCann issued a statement through their spokesman, Clarence Mitchell, in which they said: "We do not wish to dignify the actions of the Madeleine Foundation with any response at all."

“A little girl gone missing continues to be overshadowed by egomaniacs and bored misfits.
God Bless you, Madeleine. I'm so very, very sorry you continue to be victimized.”

(Pasted) Rosie, TBH, I knew nothing of Bennet, the 3 arguidos or the Madeliene Foundation until I stumbled on this story, so Mo, bravo for promoting their cause by keeping this debate going by repeating the same drivel time and time again.

Well, well, well did I post on this Forum all on my own? By the way I did not keep repeating anything and I don¿t drivel! Perhaps you can¿t cope with proof Dave, you were stating things and I would repudiate with documentary proof!!! You did not like that and you did the classic, attack the Poster not the Post!!!
I would respectfully suggest you are the one who needs to re-evaluate what has been said on this Forum and by whom!!! It was our Hosts nottingham.co.uk who chose the subject not me! Did you not read the lead story Dave?
The only cause that I came on this Forum to Promote was Madeleine McCann and helping in any way possible to find her.
Whatever did you think the Common Purpose Organisation was Dave?
(Pasted) I though they were innocent until I learned they were Common Purpose and their trust shares the same address with Common Purpose HQ.

(Pasted) Barry,
Common Purpose is a leadership development organisation which nurtures the talent we need to run our public services. The right wing nutjobs see reds under beds for some reason.

BARRY by the way there are no such thing as out of towners anymore, you are now in the 21st Century and this Forum can be read and responded to by anyone in the world who has a P.C. I am very mindful of that, everyone should be, and everyone should take responsibility for what they say and not to blame others!!!”

“Anyone who is interested in the Facts of this Investigation.
The following is the forward to the book ¿The Madeleine Investigation: Incompetence or Corruption¿
I have removed all links but all you need to do is Google the title.
The comments and reviews from 'genuine' purchasers of this book have been favourable. Many saying that they did not realise the extent of the disinformation surrounding Madeleine's disappearance and that of her parents, until they read it grouped under one heading. Many have been absolutely horrified at the extent of the vicious online bullying, intimidation and untrue and unfounded allegations aimed at Mr Mrs McCann.
This book is an excellent read for those that have not followed this case, as well as those who have.
Many have been absolutely astonished at the degree of incompetency by the Portuguese police the 'Policia Judiciaria' (PJ) and have been shocked at how the now sacked and disgraced detective 'Goncalo Amaral' was allowed to head this investigation for five months.
This book concentrates on Goncalo Amaral and questions his investigative techniques, competency and asks many deep and probing questions.
The authors maintain there are approximately a truly staggering 168 questions that are pertinent to this case and which must be answered by Goncalo Amaral.
Currently Goncalo Amaral, is now blatantly touting himself for money. He has employed an agent, who contacted Sky News and told them that Amaral was available for interview but it would cost Sky a staggering £80.000!
Agents/publicists do not come cheap, and can cost anything from around an eye opening £3000 per month up to double figure sums of £40.000. How much is Goncalo Amaral now earning out of Madeleine, to be able to employ an agent/publicist?
Amaral has already written a book and has made double figure thousands out of Royalties. He has sold the rights of this book to a Portuguese TV company for an undisclosed figure said to have run into many thousands of euros.
Amaral has reported to have received huge payments from TV, radio stations for interviews and also from newspapers and magazines and is now apparently writing another book book about Madeleine.
Goncalo Amaral is making himself a millionaire out of a child he failed, out of an investigation he bungled. he claims things in his book and TV programme that are probably libellous and in any case are completely without foundation, proof, evidence or fact.
He is without doubt seriously harming the reputation of Portugal and is bringing his former profession into serious disrepute.
The question is HOW? How is he able to do these things? Who in Portugal is scared of stopping this man? And WHY?
These are the questions the above book asks and this is what makes this book different from others and such a compelling read.
Footnote: If Goncalo Amaral had put just a fraction of the effort into actually finding Madeleine, that he is now putting into making himself a millionaire at this poor child's expense, perhaps the tragic outcome of the abduction of Madeleine McCann would have been very different.
In a refreshing change, the authors of this book wish to make it known, that ALL profits from this book will go directly into the 'Official Find Madeleine Fund'. Neither do they wish to detract from the book by making themselves known as authors”

“Dave if you pop your head out of the wndow in a minute she will pass by on the "Starship Enterprise" give her a wave! I'll have the kettle on, for the next orbit Rosie!!! LOL!
By the way Dave I have never condoned leaving children unattended.
But why all the condemnation now as this was done constantly at Butlins & Pontins holiday camps, the redcoats etc., used to do the 30 minute patrols!
When this abduction first happened many people wrote in on the comment sections of newspapers, saying that they always did this in Europe and had for at least 25 years and one lady from South Africa confirmed the same in The Times. Eventually they stopped saying this because they were feeling guilty because of what had happened to Madeleine and I think they thought there may well be repercussions!
BARRY, by the way I don't trawl.
And, I did advise you that sarcasm is the lowest form of wit!!”

“Dear anonymous Dave, I agree that the Greeks and Turks do not seem to leave children alone and the Italians often take them out with them late in the evening when children eating out with their parents is the norm. It does however seem an English, if not British habit for quite a number of families, when on holiday, to leave them behind in the hotel or apartment. I have not said anywhere that I approve of this but I find it difficult not to forgive people for a dreadful mistake. I do not agree with either hounding people or attempting to promote a whiter than white image. I have not, and never had, any connection with the McCann campaign and comment as a total outsider but I do have a considerable interest in fair play.
Having also lived and worked in a variety of countries I appreciate the fact that such a campaign of hatred would find short shrift in most of them and that so many of them are much more forgiving than many of my own countrymen and women as evinced in these columns. As a senior project manager I do hope you treated your own staff with more compassion and consideration for their feelings.”

“Barry why not contact the editor of this paper, they can check the IP numbers, it is simple. If I was trying to be deceitful, I would change my name and not keep changing my location each time I post.
I see that you come out with the old chestnut ¿HIS¿. As usual nothing to add.”

“Dave
Recently someone sent another person an explicit picture involving child pornography, this was sent through Royal Mail and I believe the police are now investigating this. All in the name of Justice for Madeleine. This is why I protect myself.
TBH I am busy and I have a lot to fill my life with and in the not too distant future even more, the reason why I do this, is because I believe that no matter the rights and wrongs of how those children were left, all children have and Madeleine had, a right to stay safely sleeping in her bed, without some predator coming in and taking her.”

“Barry Stanz,
From the outset I have been totally honest on these Forums, you may well feel the need to lie Barry but please don't judge other people by your own standards.
You obviously have a problem with intelligent women, do you feel threatened by them Barry?
Email this Forum they should be able to confirm if the people posting are posting from different email addresses, without breaching confidentiality.”

“So Dave by your own admission, you know nothing of Bennett or the Foundation, until you stumbled across this story and because you have take a dislike to someone, you decide to ignore the facts and accuse someone of repeating drivel? Then how do you know it is drivel if you knew nothing about any of it?
You may be telling the truth of course, I have no idea, but I this is standard rebuttal of those involved with the Foundation. People ¿never seem to know any of this, they just stumbled across it, they always knew the parents did it, they are writing to give their support and buy several books after reading one leaflet and they all seem to want to give us their life stories about who and why they are buying a booklet after reading a leaflet¿, oh and of course pledge their undying and sycophantic support for their previously unknown heroes Tony Bennett and Debbie Butler. Who on the say so of just 10 previously unseen and unknown reasons they picked up off a ¿campaigner¿ or were given a leaflet while they were languishing in prison, by their prison visitor and these criminals were suddenly prompted to get a conscience and all write about something they know nothing about to Tony Bennett. Oh and not to mention people standing at bus stops who seen the leaflet handing out their leaflets, then cross a busy main road, risk missing their bus, to ask for several leaflets so they can give them out to their friends.
Oh pull the other one, what utter nonsense. But it does not surprise me when I read such garbage from the Foundation and its cult followers because they are all brain washed and cannot think for themselves, if they could then they would see how utterly unbelievable their little stories are!
I am interested in this case but I do not inflict on other people, if the subject comes up I may talk about it briefly for a few minutes, but that is about it - strangely enough, I never try and foist my opinions on others, yet only once have I spoken to someone who thought that the parents were not telling the truth about checking their children and even stranger everyone that I have spoken to, all think that Madeleine was abducted, so where are all these people mentioned by the Foundation, who all seem to be queuing up to write in their support and give their hard earned cash away to?”
