COTGRAVE Place Golf Club is up for sale for £2.35m.

The 36-hole course covers more than 240 acres and has almost 1,000 members.

Owner Crown Golf has appointed Humberts Leisure to manage the sale, so it can concentrate on other golf clubs.

Crown Golf chief executive Stephen Lewis said: "Concentrating on our golf clubs in the south of England has its operational benefits, and this was a key consideration in our decision to sell Cotgrave Place Golf Club in Notts.

"We continue to focus on those clubs which we wish to retain."
