Conditional discharge for owner of Radford sex shop without a licence
A 51-YEAR-OLD man has been conditionally discharged for 12 months for having a sex shop without a licence in Nottingham.
Nicholas Myers, of Beech Avenue, Sandiacre, had denied he used The Adult Shop, Alfreton Road, Radford, as a sex establishment without a licence between January 5 and January 6 this year.

He further denied having 96 video recordings on January 6.
The material should only have been supplied in a licensed sex shop.

He also supplied a classified video recording from The Adult Shop on January 5.
At Nottingham Magistrates’ Court this month, he was found guilty of all the charges.
The videos will be forfeited and destroyed by Nottingham City Council. Myers must pay costs of £7,781.
