Concern for missing Rainworth man
POLICE are expressing grave concerns for the safety of a man who didn’t return home from work this morning.
Colin Evans, 51, of Rainworth, left work around 7am today (Monday 11 March) and is known to have attended King’s Mill Hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries from a fall and discharged.
He is thought to have left the hospital around 9am, on foot.
Mrs Evans contacted police at 11am stating he hadn’t returned and this was out of character.
Colin is described as white, 5ft 9” tall, of medium build. He has a bald head, a pale complexion, is unshaven and wears glasses.
He was last seen wearing a blue and white checked jacket, black top, trousers and black boots.
He is familiar with woods around the Rainworth area, where he walks his dogs.
Enquiries are ongoing to trace him, but police would urge anyone who sees him to contact them urgently on 101.
