SHERWOOD Festival on Saturday, June 20, will be preceded by an art week, starting the previous Saturday.

Around 40 artists are already involved in more than 70 workshops and exhibitions.

This year's festival should be the biggest ever. Organisers are printing an eight-page guide to the week, including a map.

The venue is Woodthorpe Grange Park, where there will be music, dancing, entertainment, food and drink.
