Clifton all ready for their big Notts Cup showdown
CLIFTON All Whites toned up for their midweek Notts Senior Cup tie with Retford United with a 4-1 win at Holbrook St Michaels in the Black Dragon Badges South Division.
Will Heath, Connor Hardy, Jake Richardson and Carl Westcarr all scored for Clifton, with Dan Sharpe getting Holbrook's reply.
Linby Colliery shared four goals with Newark Town. Matt Murphy and Damian Mann twice put the home side in front, with Mark Ellison and Chris Dobbie ensuring Newark's first draw this season.
Goals from Southwell City's Craig Boulton and South Normanton's Ryan Bowen meant a point each at Bishop's Drive, while Blackwell Miners Welfare picked up a point at Real United. Ash Barber grabbed Blackwell's goal, with Jay Lee Hodgson on target for Real.
There were plenty of goals in the Black Dragon Badges North Division with three teams racking up seven.
Easington United played only their second league game this year, but it wasn't a happy experience, as they conceded seven goals at Ollerton Town.
The match was a personal triumph for Lee Easom, who found the net four times, with Lewis English (2) and Sam Holmes also scoring.

AFC Mansfield kept their noses in front after a 5-1 win at Thoresby Colliery Welfare. The goals were shared between Danny Naylor, Matt Draper, Dean Rick, Mark Carter and Gary Armstrong.
The mercurial Carl Haslam hit top form for AFC Mansfield, setting up all five goals.
Sherwood Colliery did themselves a power of good, winning 6-2 at Yorkshire Main with Tristan Burrell and James Whitmore both scoring twice.
A 30-yard free kick from Gareth Davey was enough to give Clay Cross Town the points at Phoenix.
Dunkirk stretched their lead to five points at the head of the Reserve Supreme Division with a 2-1 defeat of Long Eaton United at Grange Park.
William Riley gave the home side a half-time lead but Lewis Wilcox and Alex Meehan pulled the game round for Dunkirk.

It was a tight game at Sherwood Colliery where Clipstone Welfare won by the odd goal in five. Gareth Curtis' two for Sherwood were answered by a brace for Scott Curley and an own goal.
The match between the bottom two gave Nottingham United their first win since September as they beat Southwell City 4-3. Cody King (2), Chris Tivey and Jamie Clarke got the goals, while Southwell's reply was from Freddie Danby, Joe Walters and Will Wheat.
