A PANTOMIME with a unique environmental theme will be taking to the stage in the county's schools.

The "eco" version of Cinderella has been written by the County Council's Schools Waste Action Club which is working with pupils to put on the panto as part of their Christmas celebrations.

Pupils will prepare, rehearse and perform the show, which will then be watched by the rest of the school at the end of the day.

The panto looks at problems of waste and ways to tackle them.
