AFC BRIDGFORD once again showed their fantastic cup pedigree with a 2-1 win over Bilborough United.

John Greaves scored for United in the NAA Senior Cup encounter, but it was goals from Will Moss and Rob Churchouse that ended up being enough for the Herons to progress into the next round of the competition.

They were joined in the hat by cup holders Kashmir, who comfortably made it through to the quarter-finals with a 3-1 victory at Kimberley MW 'A' thanks to goals from Adam Nelson (2) and Curtis Campbell.

Kimberley MW 'B' needed two extra time goals from Anthony Withe to overcome Nottm Sikh Lions 3-2.

FC Samba were made to work hard for their quarter-final place by Bold Forester. James McMann (2) and Rob Storey scored for Forester but a hat-trick from Gareth Taylor and a goal from Jason Gooch gave Samba a 4-3 win.

Santos continued their recent good form with a 9-2 demolition of Netherfield Albion Reserves. Shannon Bird (3), Dean Longdon (2) and Dean Bussey (2) were amongst the goals.

Crusader made it through to the last eight with a narrow 3-2 win over Calverton AFC thanks to strikes from Dylan Evans, Liam Hopps and Jamie Wagstaff., while a treble from Rob Rathbone and a double from Jason Stevens helped Gedling Southbank 'A' to a 6-2 success over Fox & Crown.

Aspley shocked Netherfield Town, with goals from Andy Bullivant, Darren Atkin, Ross Murphy, Sean Green and Richard Wallace giving them a 5-2 win.

In the Junior Cup, Liam Watson hit a hat-trick for Skegby United as they defeated West '8' 3-2. Simon Betts did the same for Highbury as they beat Hyson Green Cavaliers 'A' 8-0.

Hyson Green Cavaliers 'B' didn't fare much better as they went out to Jiberah. Tom Alder, Callum Rawson and Tom Hubbard were all on target for Jiberah who ran out 3-1 winners.

Ashley Beadsworth was Gedling Southbank Colts' hero as they knocked out FC Samba Reserves 6-2. He hit a fantastic four goals with Brett Duffy scoring a rare headed goal.

FC Geordie required penalties to beat Netherfield Town Pumas. Jack Harris and Billy Armstrong scored in normal time as it finished 1-1.

Mark Down's hat-trick helped Crown Inn Selston defeat Gedling Town 5-0.

The only Premier Division game saw Nuthall beat Beeston Rovers 3-0 with goals from Ross King, Francis Chapman and Liam Patton.

James Owen and Scott Pickworth both bagged braces as Birchover Park hammered AFC Bridgford Res 6-1 in Division One, while Vernon Villa and Strelley Rose shared a 2-2 draw. Colin Eley, Mark Hudson, Junior Bertram and Lee Hodgkinson got the goals.
