Chris Kiwomya's chance to impress at Notts County
CHRIS Kiwomya has 13 games to prove he's the right man for Notts County in the long-term, after it was confirmed he will be in charge at Meadow Lane until the end of the season.
He was given the job until April a day after leading the Magpies to a 4-1 home win against Bury in League One after their 1-1 draws against Crewe and Walsall while in caretaker control of the first team.

Kiwomya inspired the Magpies to fightbacks in all of those three games to impress chairman Ray Trew.
"Chris has shown his desire and enthusiasm for the job and coupled this with a tactical astuteness that has allowed him to turn things around when they haven't been going exactly as we would have liked," he said.

"We think Chris deserves the chance to build on the work he has done in the short space of time he has been in charge of first-team affairs and we are happy to confirm he will be at the helm until the end of the current campaign.
"We will, of course, review the situation at the end of the season.
"But Chris now has the chance to show us exactly what he can do, in the knowledge that he has an extended spell in charge."

“With no experience in the job before, CK has a huge challenge ahead, starting with the Tranmere match tomorrow. Having seen the first halves at Walsall and against Bury, i feel there is the obvious worry about getting the players "up for it" from kick-off time ... Hence having real concerns that Tranmere could be out of site at half time, if that is continued into tomorrow night's match.”
