A WOMAN from Bulwell arrested in connection with child sex offences is Angela Patricia Allen, the Evening Post understands.

The 39-year-old, who is understood to be a mother, was arrested on suspicion of possessing indecent images of a child.

A child of hers is currently understood to be in the care of social services following her arrest.

A 21-year-old man and 17-year-old man from Bulwell were also arrested on suspicion of possessing indecent images of a child.

Investigators said the arrests on Wednesday were linked with that of nursery worker Vanessa George, in Plymouth, who faces charges including sexual assaults on young children.

Nottingham Magistrates yesterday granted police a further 36-hour custody extension, which will allow officers to question the suspects until 9am tomorrow.
