Favourite restaurant? "The Laguna Indian Restaurant in central Nottingham. Tony, the owner, is second to none. He seems to remember everybody's name and the food is the best ever. I take clients there because the food, the hospitality and the setting is fantastic."

Favourite pub? "I like to go out and have a drink with the lads. I like The Bell in the Square. It's a proper boozer with a good atmosphere, no windows, and it's full of old characters."

Favourite holiday destination? "Dubai is inspiring. The vision of the guy who owns that place is enormous. I go on development tours while my family is on the beach!"

Favourite designer label? "I don't wear named clothes, I can't bear paying £100 for a T-shirt. I go out and buy my own stuff from high street shops but I don't have a lot of time for it."
