A CHARITY in Carlton has thanked two scouts for helping reach out to elderly people.

Age Concern, in Carlton Hill, had been worried about regulars to its day centre who had been stuck at home.

But Amy Box, 15, and Robert Wright, 16, agreed to call on members who the charity was worried about when their school was closed.

Matt Rooney, of Nottingham-shire Scouts, said it was a pleasure to help the charity.
