Chapman signs for Mansfield Town and goes straight in for debut
MANSFIELD boss Paul Cox was quick to fill the void left by injured midfielder Anthony Howell by signing Oxford United's highly-rated Adam Chapman on loan until the end of the season – with the possibility of a permanent signing.
Chapman, 23 was in the starting line-up at Woking last night and Cox said: "After losing Anthony Howell for a short period of time, it was important that we strengthened in the centre of midfield.

"We had various options, but when we learned that Chappy was available, we were keen to bring him here. He'll add a bit of everything to our midfield. He's a strong player, with great technical ability."
The former Sheffield United player, who won seven Northern Ireland U21 caps, has made 32 appearances for The U's in League Two this season.
