ALFRETON Town make their live TV debut tonight with their Blue Square Bet Premier Division home game against league leaders Newport County being screened on Premier Sports (7.45pm).

A big crowd is expected, despite Alfreton's 2-0 defeat at Gateshead on Tuesday.

That was only a second reverse in the last 12 games in all competitions for Nicky Law's men.

Title-chasing Newport arrive hot on the heels of a 6-2 home thrashing of Cambridge United.

It took their total of goals to 36 from 17 league games.

Law's options will be boosted by the return from suspension of top scorer Dan Bradley.

Alfreton have extended the youth loan of central defender Ross Killock, 18, from npower Championship club Leeds United.

Killock, who has been in fine form, will now be with the Reds until December 3.

Midfielder Jake Moult has been released from his contract with Alfreton and joined Conference North club Altrincham permanently. He has been on loan with the Cheshire outfit since the start of the season.

Moult made 80 appearances for the Reds, 15 from the bench, and scored 14 goals after joining from Stafford Rangers in January 2010.

Meanwhile, striker Anthony Wilson has joined Northern Premier League Premier Division leaders North Ferriby on a month's loan.
