NOTTS cadets are helping to celebrate 150 years of the movement.

On February 16 they will be joining forces with cadets from Derbyshire for a day of activities at Nottingham's Cadet Training Centre, near Chetwynd Barracks in Chilwell, to kick off celebrations in the East Midlands. There will be events throughout the year and across the country as part of Cadet150.

The cadet movement consists of the Combined Cadet Force (CCF), the Sea Cadet Corps (SCC), the Army Cadet Force (ACF) and the Air Training Corps (ATC). It represents 131,000 young people and 25,000 adult volunteers at more than 3,000 sites all over the UK.
