Cars stolen by gang go back to owners
OFFICERS behind an operation which brought down a Notts car theft gang say that more than 40 cars have been returned to their owners.
The Post reported last week how Operation Pacer led to a total of 14 men being arrested for the thefts.
At Nottingham Crown Court on Friday, 11 of them received sentences from three years and nine months in jail to suspended sentences.
The East Midlands Special Operations Unit – Serious Organised Crime team said yesterday that the operation had now seen 41 of about 60 cars stolen recovered and returned to their owners.
