Carlton family to sue over Spanish holiday illness
A CARLTON family plans to sue a travel firm after being struck down with illness in Spain.
Sonia and Nicholas Parsons say their holiday with their three children was ruined by diarrhoea and sickness.

They fell ill shortly after their arrival at the Jupiter Hotel in Majorca in September.
Mrs Parsons, 36, claims food served at the hotel was exposed to insects as well as frequently not being hot when it was served.
She added that the hotel pool was closed because faeces had been found in the pool.
She said: "It was a horrible experience." and added that her children Caitlyn, Dylan and Kian couldn't start the school year on time because they were still ill.
Amandeep Dhillon of Irwin Mitchell Solicitors, who is representing the couple, said they were seeking compensation.
A spokesperson for First Choice said it would investigate the claims and respond as soon as possible.
She said: "We would like to reassure our customers that every effort is taken to safeguard their health and wellbeing whilst abroad.
"First Choice closely monitors all the hotels to which it operates to ensure that the health, safety, hygiene and comfort levels our customers expect are maintained."

“First Choice might become er No one's choice now
I must admit people who sue for this that and the other really get on my nerves, although it might make Holiday companies ( for example) take a bit more care.
It's just the idea that money can compensate for everything which seems a bit unhealthy”

“We stayed at the Jupiter 3 years ago and still can not get over it, s**t hole sick and poo in the pools everyday, 1/4 pints of pee served in plastic cups.Unless you had at least 3 tattoos and an asbo you wont fit in,and it was a very expensive all inclusive holiday. Made 3 complaints to first choice and got no response so good luck.”

“Oh my god here we go again have a issue and lets sue someone. For gods sake if the food was exposed to insects and not hot then why on earth did you ffed this to your kids and not complain and get a new meal. This is a daft story about someone trying to get something for nothing again.”
