Caribbean businesses in Nottingham targeted by armed robber
SIX armed robberies have taken place at Caribbean businesses in the city over the past three months.
Police believe the series of gun attacks could be the work of one man, and have released an E-fit image of the suspected offender.

Police have released this e-fit of a man they want to speak to in connection with six armed robberies in Nottingham.
Two hairdressers, a takeaway and a money transfer agent are among the businesses which have been targeted.
In each case cash was stolen.
Investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Rob Griffin said: “On all occasions a black man has entered the premises in the late afternoon pretending to be a prospective customer. He has then threatened staff with a handgun and demanded they hand over cash.
“While no one has been injured, understandably, the robberies have been very frightening and traumatic for the victims.
The robber is described as black and of slim build with a square face. He speaks with a Jamaican accent, and during each robbery the man wore washed-out blue jeans, a dark waist-length coat, dark knitted gloves.
The details of the robberies are as follows:
At 7.50pm on November 25 last year, at a premises in St Ann’s, the owner does not want to have the business publicised. Cash was stolen.
At 5.40pm on December 5 last year, at money transfer agent the Jamaica National Bank in Bentinck Road, Hyson Green. Cash was stolen.
At 5.30pm on December 16 last year at Shades Hair Salon in Alfreton Road, Radford. Cash and jewellery stolen.
At 6.30pm on January 3 at Caribbean Di Lite Takeaway in Sneinton Boulevard, Sneinton. Cash and the CCTV security tap was stolen.
At 6.20pm on January 5 at the Peace and Beauty Salon in Carlton Road, Sneinton. cash Jewellery, mobile phone and beauty products stolen.
At around 6pm at a premises in Sherwood Rise on January 27. Cash, hair extensions and hair products were stolen.
