Camp: I'll get even better at Forest
FANS' favourite Lee Camp sealed his dream move to Nottingham Forest before declaring he intends to be an even bigger hit than last time.
The 24-year-old became an instant hero among the Reds faithful when he joined on loan from QPR last October.
He made 15 appearances before leaving at the end of the year, producing some commanding performances.
It included two crucial penalty saves, one against arch-rivals and his former club Derby.
And when he returned in February in QPR colours, he was given a standing ovation by a packed City Ground.
But his message was they are still to see the best of him.
He signed a four-year contract yesterday after the two clubs agreed an undisclosed fee.
And he said: "I have set a standard for myself and I have got to keep that, and go up and beyond that.
"I came here on loan, I was hungry and the team was struggling at the time a little bit and I would like to think I contributed.
"It gave me passion and I was sad to leave.
"It has been a long time coming but these last few days have been positive and we have managed to get it done.
"I enjoyed my time here on loan, built up a good rapport with the fans and the big thing is Billy (Davies).
"I know what he will want to do, how he will approach things and having worked with him and his backroom staff before, it all fits and ticks every box.
"My mind was made up from the minute I heard and I was only ever going to come to this place. I am just pleased it is all done and dusted and now I am ready to start."
Camp impressed at QPR during two loans before making his move permanent to Loftus Road from Derby in the summer of 2007.
He was an ever present as he became a fans' favourite but 12 months ago the club signed Radek Cerny and he was consigned to the bench.
That led to his Forest loan move and he said it only made him more determined to be a success.
"I am always hungry to play and you always feel when you are not in the team that someone is questioning your ability," he said.
"I have always got that fire in the belly to prove people wrong and I want to be the best and show people I am the best. The only way to do that is to play."

“Fantastic signing, I didn't think it was going to materalise because of there 'supposed' rift, Billy knows a good player when he sees one, and I can't wait to see him in a Forest shirt again, he is totally HOT!
& he can't be a judas because he is a Forest fan afterall, otherwise he would of let that penalty in, Commons is the judas!
You Reds!!”

“Well it looks like you and I Hulk
Have beat the sheep again
They've ran with tails between their legs
Back to their foul sheep pen
I'll say goodnight now Red Dogs
And up the stairs I'll climb
But I'll be back to savage the sheep
Another day another time.”
