FLYING winger Ashley Cain has agreed a one-year deal after a successful trial spell with Mansfield Town.

The 19-year-old, known for his blistering pace, has impressed both in pre-season training and in friendly matches.

Cain, formerly with Coventry City, has also enjoyed spells with Luton Town and Oxford United.

"I know what a good club this is and have been very eager to sign ever since I joined on trial," said Cain.

Stags manager David Holdsworth said: "Ashley is an exciting prospect. He has created a good impression while with us and I hope he has a good season."
